|---|---|
| Adam Internet is proud to announce the release of it's Premium News
Service. This service is to be officially launched to Adam Internet
customers on the 15th of November 2006.
Usenet News, otherwise known as Newsgroups, are community-based, unmoderated discussion forums which often contain downloadable files such as home video clips, desktop wallpapers, sound clips and more. In order to ensure quality, speed and reliability to our customers, the Adam Internet development team tested many software suites and upstream news providers. We chose the Giganews Service, which gave us consistently great performance while also offering 99% completion rate and good retention periods. This ensures that content is reliable, and available for up to 1100 days (90 days for binary groups). During the 'Beta' testing of this service, our trial customers each consumed an average 2GB of downloadable content per month. For the initial release of this service, Adam Internet ADSL and ADSL2+ customers will receive a FREE Premium News login equivalent of the Giganews Bronze account which is normally valued at $7.99US per month and has 2GB of data allowance per month The release of the Premium News Service further extends Adam Internet's commitment to provide quality value-add services with their ADSL and Adam Direct ADSL2+ Services. The Premium News Server can be accessed at the following address 'news.adam.com.au' and requires your Adam Internet username and password. TOP |

| Adam unveils its new Website | 30th November 2005 |
| Adam Internet is one of South Australia's premier ISP's with over 20 years experience and a strong reputation for quality & reliability. Its Website, www.adam.com.au has been the starting point or "HomePage" for generations of Internet users. This Portal approach to its website was ahead of its time and provided customers with easy access to Search Engines, Banks, E-mail and provided a focus on South Australia through its links to Wallis Cinemas, RAA, Adelaide Central Markets just to name a few.
Today marks the "Next Generation" of the website that provides a new look for Adam Internet and aligns it with Adam Internet's corporate theme. In particular, the website has been revamped to reflect the split between Adam@Home & Adam@Work for Residential and Corporate customers. Adam Internet has responded to customer feedback and have retained the "Portal" aspect for easy search functions, local news and local content. There are a number of new features such as "Network Status" which graphically shows in real time the status of the Adam Internet network in green, orange or red much like a traffic light. The website has been totally built from the ground up and much of the content has been redone. A total upgrade to the Adam Internet's Members Service area which now gives Adam Members not only the ability to look at the status of their account but they can add additional e-mail address or turn on their own personal webspace. The new look website is a recognition of Adam Internet's involvement with South Australia, the demands of our clients and the need to support the advanced features of our Next Generation (ADSL2+) Broadband service.
